Sarwono born in Pekalongan 6th June 1953, he is Board of Director of Fédération Internationale des Ingénieurs-Conseils-FIDIC (2019-2023); Director of Region 2 of Dispute Resolution Board Foundation-DRBF (2016- now); Country Representative for Indonesia-DRBF (2012-now); President, Society of Construction Law Indonesia Chapter-(SCLI)-www.sclindonesia.id (2023-now); FIDIC Affiliate Member-www.fidic.org (2013-now); FIDIC Accredited Trainer (2012-now); President and Fellow of Institute of Dispute

Board for Construction-(PADSK)-www.padsk.org (2017-now); Executive Member and Fellow of Indonesian Institute of Arbitrator (IArbI) (2023-now); Singapore International Arbitration Court Reserve Panel (SIAC) (2023-now); he recently involved in some International Projects in Indonesia and abroad as Dispute Avoidance and Adjudication Board (2006-now).

Formerly he worked as Special Adviser to the Minister of Public Works and Housing (2010-

2022); Director of PT Geodipa Geothermal Plant (2008-2010); Deputy Director and then Vice President of State Electricity Corporation (2003-2008), as Project Manager and Project Director of some HEPPs (1995-2002).

Involve as FIDIC Board Liaison to Contract Committee as well as reviewer of FIDIC Rainbow Series, Red-Yellow-Silver (2nd  Edition 2017 reprinted 2022); The Short Form of Contract, Green Book (2nd Edition 2021); FIDIC Contracts Guide to the Construction, Plant and Design-Build and EPC/Turnkey Contracts (2nd Edition 2022); and he is translator of the Rainbow Series 1999 and

2017 reprinted 2022; MDB Harmonised 2010; Client/Consultant Model Services Agreement , White Book (5th Edition 2017) into Bahasa Indonesia (under FIDIC license).

In the field of education, he is lecturer in Construction Contract, Claim and Dispute Resolution as well as in Construction Law in some Universities; Chair of Indonesian Professors Association (Pergubi) DKI Jakarta and Board of Trustee of Pekalongan University.

Writer at some Journals, one of his notable publication is (2020) “Use of Dispute Avoidance and Adjudication Board”, awarded as the Most Downloaded Paper 2021 at Journal of Legal Affairs and Dispute Resolution of American Society of Civil Engineers (www.asce.org); he is also a reviewer of LADR-ASCE and several international journals as well as national journal i.e. Journal of Sustainable Construction and Konstruksia; (2021), a Book Chapter of FIDIC Contracts in Asia Pacific by Donald Charrett: “Applying FIDIC Contract in Indonesia”. At 7 May 2022 in London he is  awarded  the  Al  Mathews  Award  for  Dispute  Board  Excellence  (www.drb.org);  At  28

November 2023 also in London he is awarded “Trainer of The Year Merit Award” of FIDIC
