Universitas Pekalongan Hosts International Conference on Construction Contracts in Civil Law and Common Law Perspectives
Pekalongan, December 9, 2023 — The Faculty of Law at Universitas Pekalongan, in collaboration with the Doctoral Program in Law of Universitas Diponegoro and the Indonesian Society of Construction Law, successfully held the International Conference on “Construction Contract in the Perception of Civil Law and Common Law”. The event took place at the Auditorium 8th Floor of Universitas Pekalongan from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
The conference brought together distinguished legal experts and practitioners to discuss the complexities and comparative insights of construction contracts within civil law and common law systems.
The event attracted participants from various backgrounds — including academics, practitioners, and construction law enthusiasts — both from Indonesia and abroad. Discussions centered around contractual frameworks, dispute resolution, and harmonization efforts between the two legal systems.
